Covid19 FOOD INITIATIVE
LPOC donated $1,000.00 towards the food initiative to St. James Outreach House in August 2020!

OPERATION LIFESAVERS
On April 26th, 2020 The Club delivered 60 LifeSaver Bags to the Hydration Stations at Einstein Hospital in East Norton, PA.
This initiative was in response to the COVID19 Crisis.
On May 18th, the Club continued this program by recognizing our Lower Providence Life Savers, our Police and EMS Departments with baskets of snacks
to get them through their long shifts during the pandemic.



RESPECT FOR LAW
Lower Lower Providence Optimist Club participates in activities to inspire respect for law enforcement among young people and to educate them on the jobs these brave men and women perform.

On October 19, 2020, The LP Optimist Club presented the Lower Providence Fire Company with an insignia flag to honor their 75th Anniversary as a Volunteer Fire Company
FORTENITERS
The Lower Providence Optimist Club gives back to the community by serving dinner to the Forteniters of Norristown in the Winter each year.
We are proud to support the less needed children and adults
by providing a hot meal and fellowship.

YOUTH
BIKE SAFETY
Each Summer our Club Members partner with the Lower Providence Police Department in our Bike Safety Program. The children are taught to follow the rules of the road, to wear a helmet. Their tire pressure and bikes are checked for overall safety.

THANKSGIVING BASKETS
Each Thanksgiving Basket, the club makes Food Baskets for needy families in our township and surrounding neighborhoods. The Baskets includes everything for the family to enjoy a hearty meal. Last year we proudly made and delivered 30 Baskets!

Visit us for theLower Providence Tree lighting;
it's an absolutely fabulous evening of light displays
and good cheer!

booth and enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies and get into the Holiday Spirit!

LAUREL HOUSE
During the Christmas Holidays, the club volunteers at the Laurel House, dressing like Santa's Elves! Mr. and Mrs. Claus are present too! We help distribute gifts to the children.

FISHING DERBY
The Saturday, before Father's Day, the club volunteers to help The Stoney Creek Anglers with their Fishing Derby held at Hoy Park. We provide light snacks and help measure the fish as the children catch them. It's a rewarding event watching some of our local children fish for the first time.
