41st Annual Egg Hunt
The Optimist Volunteers provide refreshments to the community at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt held at Eagleville Park. Visit the Parks and Recreation Department too sign up for a time slot to enjoy this Covid Protected Event. You will get the chance to see the Easter bunny!

Each year the Club Sponsors a student in the District Spelling Bee. This year's Bee was held at the Giant Food Market in Willowgrove, PA. This year's participant, Janet J. was a worthy opponent, finishing in 3rd Place!

2019 Methacton HS Award Recipents
The Optimist Club recognizes students within the Methacton District with trophies for their outstanding character. This is an opportunity to recognize students in our township for their commitment to being a giving and kind person. A $500.00 Scholarship (Hohlfield DellAngelo and Quintana's Award) is also presented to a senior at the High School who demonstrates respect to others.

Photo Contest
Each year the club sponsors a photo contest for the children who participate in the Lower Providence Camp Program. The winners are awarded Gift Certificates and of course, every child is recognized
with a small token of appreciation for their participation.

July 4th Birthday Bash, Celebration & Fireworks
You can find The Optimists at their tent grilling up hamburgers and hot dogs at our concession stand, along with other goodies. Stop by and satisfy your hunger as you listen to the concert and watch the Lower Providence Annual Fireworks Display.

33rd Annual Fall Fest
Lower Providence Fall Fest is one of the communities premiere events.
It's a great day to spend the day visiting the vendors and of course stop by and visit the Optimist tent to satisfy your hunger with freshly grilled
hot-dogs, hamburgers Veggie Burgers and other goodies!

Halloween Event for Children 12 and Under

Collecting Tabs
The optimists collect tabs for Ronald McDonald House to help recoup money that is used for families of Children to stay nearby at the homey facility located near the Hospital. This gives the child and family the ability to be together during significant treatments.
This is an ongoing project throughout the year.
Quilts for Kids - Children's Hospital
Our talented members spend some of their extra time creating beautiful homemade quilts for children being treated for serious conditions in the Greater Philadelphia Children's Hospital. These quilts bring warmth and joy to local children being treated for illnesses.
